Haven't used Appspace before, but have used a Maximo Start Center as a dashboard on a monitor in a shared space many times. The biggest thing outside of designing a set of portlets for the Start Center, was configuring the application to refresh itself routinely. This can be done by modifying a JSP file - I might have to write a blog article on it soon.

Alex - I would LOVE for you to share your experiences.  That refresh itself part in particular is something that we definitely need to know.  But I will gratefully accept any info you throw my way.  Guess what else?  We are trying to get approval to implement MXMeter right now.  That app is incredible.  It is a small world.  I can't thank you enough.
