 Error When Exporting a Report to .pdf

Hi,

Working in Maximo 7.6.1.1, I'm encountering the following error when exporting the report to .pdf. The report renders correctly on the screen. Any ideas how I can troubleshoot this issue?


When I download and attempt to open from Adobe Acrobat, I get the following message:

Looks like pdf is getting corrupted during export. Are you getting this error with exporting all reports or only with the specific report?

Also do you have longdescription.ldtext field being used in this report by any chance? If yes can you try removing ldtext field. If rich text is enabled, ldtext can give this kind of trouble.

Hi,

For some reason I am having trouble responding.

The report is in the User application > Login History report.

Other reports export fine.

I know this happened a while back, did you ever get an answer?  We are currently having the same issue same version.

Have you checked the JVM (SystemOut/SystemErr) logs and the browser console entries?

I wouldn't assume that the report has actually completed being generated in the PDF format.

If I remember rightly a report is generated twice in this situation - once in the browser and a second time for the PDF format.

you need to check the logs to see if there were any errors generating the PDF version.
