 PM PM.FIRSTDATE field resets PM.PMCOUNTER back to "0"

Hi Maximo Community, 

Subject:  When PM - First Start Date field is changed - the counter field auto resets back to "0"

PM.PMCOUNTER
PM.FIRSTDATE

Is there a way to change this setting so the "Counter" field does not reset to "0" on change of PM First Start Date?

Hi Maryann

I have struggled to understand "how" because the PM.FIRSTDATE is not normally shown, so my instinct is that there is something custom happening.  Can you let me know how you are seeing the PM.FIRSTDATE?  Also is this from any industry solution or ACM or just plain standard PM.  Also why are you changing the PM.FIRSTDATE?

As I believe there could be custom work involved can we get a picture of where your changing the PM.FIRSTDATE.
