Dear All,

We duplicated a dialog "transfer current item" in inventory for doing bin to bin transfers.As most of the functionality is similar to the transfer current item,we have utilized the same bean class and didnt change any references.

We have 2 requirements:

1. the from store location on the transfer current item is being set in  a field validation class attached to the fromstoreloc attribute on the non persistent mbo TRANSFERCURITEM.For our duplicated dialog,the to store location needs to be exactly similar to the from store loc.Is there a way to achieve this without any customization through a configuration?

2. Also,when the duplicated dialog box is clicked(bin to bin transfer),the transfer current item dialog box should be disabled.Is there a way to achieve this and please guide on the way to do this

For 1, if you're on 7.6.1.0 or higher I would suggest utilizing an action launch point automation script that launches the dialog and sets the tostoreloc. I don't know a great way otherwise to handle it because you don't want to impact the standard transfer current item dialog.

For 2, I don't understand. Maximo only allows a single dialog to be open at a time. IE I can't open the issue current item and transfer current item dialogs. ​
