    Hello everyone,

    Whenever a service request ( from maximo mobile)has a particular classstructureid, it generates an EM type workorder. This is happening through escalation. After the workorder gets generated in wappr within seconds another escalation checks if any workorder that has generated from sr with this classstructureid, is in wappr , changes the status to appr .
    The problem is when the workorder is changed to appr we find that reported date and status date are being populated with future dates and so technicians cannot change the status to inpr to start the work but system doesn't allow a future date ( as that has not come yet) to get changed. But the reported date in SR is fine.
    I tried writing an automation script that would simply copy the reported date of service request to reporteddate date and status date of workorder with add event. But then after second escalation runs it changes the date back to future date. So i included update event button too in the launch point.
    But as per my knowledge, i think everytime the work order will get updated the statusdate will not work accordingly.
    I am not understanding how to proceed with this and also why maximo is putting a future date and where to check how the date is getting populated. Because i think maximo should put the same date when getting generated.
