  • 1.  Closing a re-opened PR

    We have a couple of PR records in our system which were re-opened after the PO was received and closed. Because of these open PR, the parts on those PR are not hitting the reorder point. The system is not allowing to change their status to CLOSE/CANCELLED as they have closed PO details.
    Is there any way to close such PR records?

    It might be that the PR was re-opened when an item was removed from the PO. You might try changing the status of the PR to WAPPR, delete the line item(s) that were removed from the PO and re-approve the PR. If items were removed from the PO when that item is deleted from the PR and the PR re-approved the status will change to closed.

    from my previous experienced on the Purchase requisition once POs created the PRs closed (This can't be re-open for end users). It depends hows the PRs work flow created and on this function was coordinated with our middle man in maximo. I agree with the suggestion of Ms. Gina hope it's works.
