  • 1.  GLDEBITACCOUNT On Matrectrans for Item Transfer Transactions

    Hi All,

    Can anyone clarify how the gldebitaccount gets populataed on matrectrans when a transfer txn is made b/w storerooms using issues and transfers app and Inevntory usage app?

    We have observed that for few of the txns gldebitaccount is populated as null which is causing payment related issues.

    There is no customization involved for populating gldebitacct on matrectrans object .

    When checked the OOB logic for this, I got to know that the gldebitacct is copied from invcost record of tostoreloc if a record exists in that table, if not the same is copied from inventory record.

    Even though OOB code is same for Inv Usage App and Issues&Transfers app, inv usage is correctly populating the gldebitacct all the time but not I&T app .

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Meghana!
    Inventory Usage is a replacement application for Issues and Transfers.  The I&T application hasn't been updated since 7.5 and it won't be.  This is the most likely reason for it not working.
