Hello ALL-

Can someone advise me, when using Routes and Child Work Orders, how is the "work" time recorded?  Is it spilt evenly between the Assets/Locations?
( we do not use the time in the Job Plan for allocating time)-we record time/work orders in People Soft).

Labor (or any other resource types like Materials/Services/Tools) can be associated at varying levels of a Work Order hierarchy (Parent, Child, or Task). If those resources are assigned at the Parent level they do not roll down, but if at the Child or Task level they can be rolled up.

In a perfect world costs are recorded with as much specificity as possible, but that typically needs to be balanced with the costs associated with the additional record keeping and data input.
