    HI All, has anyone attempted to load Inspection forms using MXLoader or any other means instead of manually creating them?

    I haven't done it myself, but the MaxTECH user group had a session a few months ago where this was one of their topics and they're usually pretty spot on. The recording can be found here: EventBuilder

    Thanks Steven Shull, That video was very good.  Exactly what I needed.  I would love to see some of the automation scripts they did.  That tab for the Inspection details was also very good.  They did mention that there were scripts in Maximo that auto create workorders when an inspection fails.  I'm not seeing them in version 7.6.09, but perhaps that is with 7.6.1.

    Yeah the 7.6.1.0 release added the ability to take actions (such as create a WO) and also included some really useful functionality in being able to get them associated to PM/routes for example so you can quickly generate inspections for a set of assets/locations. 7.6.1.1 added some good functionality around conditionally requiring/hiding questions based on other values and some color highlighting for responses. Obviously updating is its own challenge, but the improvements are pretty drastic in the newer versions.
