    We are facing issues while applying fix pack 7.5.0.11 on 7.5.0.0.

    Once the install64.bat is executed for the fix pack and provided with current SMP path. we are getting error

    CTGIN2462W: An existing E:\IBM\SMP\etc\CCMDBTaskRunnerStore file has been detected. The CCMDBTaskRunnerStore is a list of configuration tasks that must be run to complete the installation. Exit the installation program and run the configuration steps outside of the installation program by using the taskrunner utility. The taskrunner utility resumes the installation at the point where the last successfully completed task was recorded in the previous attempt.


    We tried running task runner and it did not help.

    currently we just want it to be upgraded to 7.5.0.11 so that we can upgrade it to 7.6.1.

    One of the approach was deleting CCMDBTaskRunnerStore and run install64.bat and it did go to the next window but it did throw below error.

    Maximo 7.5 No packages are registered as installed. The previous installation is likely incomplete maximo


    have anyone encountered such issue before?

    Any inputs might help  me to resolve this issue.

    What is your existing Maximo version? It sounds like you might be on an earlier version since you mentioned applying the fix pack to 7.5.0.0.

    But if you're on 7.5.0.7 for example, I'd upgrade straight to 7.6.0.0 (no fix packs) which is a supported upgrade path that many organizations originally took. That's the path we take all of our customers through unless they are on a newer version (as you can't take 7.5.0.8 to 7.6.0.0 due to some components being a higher version than what shipped with 7.6.0.0). 

    If you're on an earlier version and you are confident that you completed the 7.5.0.0 install properly and taskrunner.bat is not returning an error when you run "taskrunner.bat CONTINUE STOPONERROR", then I'd consider installing it again in a different directory and see what happens. It's been a long time since I had to work with the taskrunner utility (Maximo 7.6+ doesn't utilize it and 7.6.0.0 was released in 2014) but in general, I remember it being accurate with the current state of the install.

    Thanks Steven for your inputs.

    Currently I am trying to clone the current existing Production environment which is 7.5.0.3.

    Initially I am installing 7.5 as the base version and I wanted to patch it to 7.5.0.3 but I have decided to directly patch it to 7.5.0.11.

    I successfully installed Maximo asset management 7.5 and now while applying patch I am getting an error.

    maximo 7.5 No packages are registered as installed. The previous installation is likely incomplete maximo 

    solution installer shows CTGIN0059I: There are currently "0" installed process solution element packages that matched the specified criteria. 

    I tried to run solutionInstallerGUI.bat and install below packages:

    1.process_automation_engine_7.5.0.0.zip
    2.MADT_7.5.0.zip
    3.MAM.zip

    but while installing process_automation_engine_7.5.0.0.zip its giving me error

    CTGIN0158E: Cannot connect to "WebSphere Application Server" with userid "wasadmin".

    So all these packages are mandatory for installation and do you have any clue for the above error?
