Recently we got a requirement to Integrate Maximo with External Application, SAP Solution Manager.
The main requirement is as follows,
Maximo's Incidents application has to be integrated with external application in such a way that it handles inbound and outbound messages.
1) Client will be using SAP Solution Manager to raise new Incident Records, i.e. a new Incident record in SAP Solution Manager is created. Now, an Incident record has to be created in Maximo with the details of record that was created in SAP Solution Manager automatically.
2) When a new Incident record is created in Maximo, the same has to be created on SAP Solution Manager.
3) The workflow is managed in the SAP end, when there is status change in the incident record in SAP environment, it has to be reflected on respective Maximo record too.
These are the requirements, Is there any way to achieve the requirements? Any help is appreciated.
