    Hi there,

    I need your advice on a customization we are trying to implement in Maximo.

    We have several document templates stored in the Attachment Library (DOCINFO), and these templates should be available depending on the Work Order Work Type.
    For example:

    • Work Type IM should see the same group of templates etc.

    Currently, when using "Add from Library", all templates are shown, regardless of the Work Type.

     

    What we have already done:

    • Added a custom attribute WORKTYPE on DOCINFO

    • Populated DOCINFO records with the corresponding Work Type

    • WORKORDER.WORKTYPE is already standard and available

    Is there a recommended or supported way to filter the Attachment Library by Work Type?

    Any guidance or best practice would be very helpful.
