Hi,

Did anyone know how to modified location parent using MxLoader? I did tried, the pop up message show done synched, but nothing was change in Maximo. Maybe I miss something in MxLoader?

Try these steps in Maximo:

• Go to Object Structures application
• Open object structure MXL_LOCATION
• Open Inbound Setting Restrictions dialog
• Select object LOCHIERARCHY
• For attribute PARENT check Override
• For attribute PARENT check Restricted

This may break functionality if you are creating a new location.  I have 2 object structures in my Maximo environment for loading/updating locations, one for new locations and one for updating existing locations.

In the MXL_LOCATION object structure, click Exclude/Include fields, select LOCHIERARCHY and then the Non-Persistent Fields tab. Is the "Include?" checkbox for NEWPARENT checked?
