That's interesting and I have seen that done. What I have found though there are some things that aren't available in one tool. Are you also monitoring individual JVM connectivity and memory of each JVM? Are you able to pull in the log files and analyze them with the same tool? Our analyzer screen shot is below. Are you able to also unlock users, restart JVMs, restart Maximo from your tool?

We are consuming JMX metrics using Jolokia and the setup is very straight forward. We ingest metrics from Jolokia into elastic search and display them using grafana.

How do you currently monitor the health of your Maximo servers remotely? Are you able to monitor your Maximo Database, Servers, JVMs and other aspects of the servers with your current tool? Are you able to do it without needing a VPN?
