Is this a text parameter that refers to an attribute? If so, make sure the attribute length is at least as large as the defaultvalue column.
If the text parameter doesn't refer to an attribute, increase the size for all the TEXTPARAM fields on the REPORTPARAMETER object to match the length of the defaultvalue column. (textparam1, textparam2, etc.)
