Adam,
Just wondering what version of Maximo you guys are running. I am looking at the REORDER CRON right now and the storeroom parameter is a multivalue field.
I am not a Maximo Admin, so maybe I haven't setup enough CRON tasks, but in 7.6.1.1 I was able to add all of my storerooms from a single site into one CRON instance.

No worries Mark. I had a feeling that was going to be the answer. Thanks again.

Sorry, Adam, after re-reading...you had already eluded to using multiple instances. Maybe someone else here has a different/better solution (lets hope!), but absent coding an alternate solution (ie. extending the reorder cron task class) it sounds to me like you are using the system as intended. Good luck!

Hi Mark, thank you for the reply. Yes, that is what we currently do but I did not know if there was a better way to manage them. Right now we have 36 instances so it gets to be a bit to manage. I just didn't know if there was a better way to do it.

Hi Adam, You can create multiple cron task instances for the reorder cron task. That should allow to split the storerooms between multiple instances and scale it up as high as is needed.

We have a lot of reorder crontasks to reorder for our storerooms. The storeroom parameter is limited to a certain length. Is it possible to increase this size of it? Just wondering what other people have done that have a large number of storerooms? Is there a way to query what storerooms you want so you can group them instead of manually entering one a time?
