    Hey All

I was wondering if anyone has had any success in removing persons from a person group. I have attempted it, but no luck. Has anyone have any guidance?

    Thanks in advance

It should be pretty straightforward to remove a Person from a Person Group.  From the Person Group application, select the Person Group in question and you'll see all members of the group.  You should be able to 'trash can' the row of the Person that you want to remove.  This does not remove the Person from the database, it simply removes them from that group.

All this assumes that you have sufficient privileges in your security profile.

Just now seeing this posting in the MX Loader discussion group, maybe your question is how do you remove persons from a person group using MX Loader?  That, I have no experience with.

    Hi Troy,

    What error are you getting?

When removing persons from the person group you have to make sure they are not the group default. If you try to delete the group default you'll get the following message: BMXAA3120E - Cannot delete the group default.

    Thanks,

Mack I also just realized this was the MXL forum.

Troy, try creating an object structure for the PERSONGROUPTEAM object. I would image you're using the MXL_PERGRP object structure.

Create a new XXX_PERGRPTEAM OS and only use the PERSONGROUPTEAM object. This should allow you to remove records (so long as they're not the Group default).

    Thanks,
