    I don't know which of our business partners offers report training, but I wanted to comment specifically that you want to make sure you avoid generic BIRT training. There are a variety of Maximo specific concepts in how to develop BIRT reports like the concept of the "where" clause parameter that Maximo sends to the report, java classes for handling parameters (such as supporting multiselect in a lookup), java classes for retrieving data (formatting based on user locale and language settings), and controlling how the database connection is handled. I've seen report developers go off and develop the reports in BIRT directly without using the Maximo framework and that leads to a lot of problems and rework when someone realizes the problem.

    @Steven Shull Does IBM offer a class with the online subscription?  I looked under IBM Training but could not find a class for BIRT Reporting.

    Hi Danny

    Firstly, I support what @Steven Shull mention about the generic BIRT training on the whole is not applicable to Maximo, simply because a) IBM are behind the times with their support for current releases of BIRT, b) how IBM has configured BIRT to interact with Maximo, and c) undoubtedly, there will be some license restriction or bit of BIRT not used. 

    If you can't find anyone over there, ISW can run a remote class.
