We are in need of upgrading Linux Version from 7.9 to 8.7, Does Maximo 7.6.1.1 support 8.x version please.

Any inputs would be appreciated.  

Our platform matrix for 7.6.1.X is linked from this technote https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/maximo-product-configuration-matrix. If you click the link on that page and ensure you're on the Details tab it will tell you that RHEL 8 is supported on 7.6.1.0+.

As per Matrix Sheet, it shows it is supported on 7.6.1.0+, but in another pdf document IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1 - Detailed System Requirements , it did not list RHEL8 when I select 7.6.1.1 maintenance level  ,so ran into that question. Could you please confirm. That would be very helpful.

I apologize, it looks like 7.6.1.2 is the required version for RHEL 8. I'm not sure why our product configuration matrix shows it as 7.6.1.0 but it shows in the readme for 7.6.1.2 that we added support and we don't certify OS on previous released fix packs. IE when we add support in 7.6.1.2 for a new OS we don't go back and certify that OS on 7.6.1.1. 

You're unlikely to have issues on 7.6.1.1 but it would not be supported. That being said, we've already stopped supporting 7.6.1.1 and will stop supporting 7.6.1.2 at the end of 2023. Our recommendation would be to get to 7.6.1.3 as part of this update to remain fully supported.
