I am using Maximo version 7.6.1.1. I am facing an issue with double posting of PO line quantity.

There are 2 scenarios for this issue

1. The received quantity exceeds the PO line quantity without any double posting lines in the receiving application.
2. The received quantity exceeds the PO line quantity with double posting lines in the receiving application.

The PO line Quantity is 1 in Purchase Order Application.

The Quantity Received here should be 1 but due to this double posting it got increased the value.

We have observed similar occurrences across multiple POs, regardless of whether they contain single or multiple PO lines.

There is no double posting line in Receiving Application.

The PO line Quantity is 8 in Purchase Order Application.

The Quantity Received here should be 8 but due to this double posting it got increased the value.

• Do you have a standard Maximo environment with the same configuration? If not, use the SMP folder and install a new demo database. Then test and see if you can replicate the issue in the standard Maximo database. If yes, you can report this issue to IBM. You can still report the issue to IBM and they will try to help you as much as they can, but without proving that it is a Maximo's bug, the chance they can help you is slim
• Did you ever modify the Where clause of a Relationship that came with Maximo? I did it once in the past, replacing a 1=0 condition in the where clause with 1=1, and it caused a double transaction to the Issue transactions of the Issue & Transfer app.
