  • 1.  Error with extending the wonum field length with database configuration application

    Posted 03-14-2023 11:26

    I newly installed ICD 7.6.1 on Windows server 2016 and Db2 11.5.

I am attempting to extend the wonum field length from 10 to 15. When I change the length and try to save, I get the following error.

BMXAA4144E - The date/time format is not valid. Make sure the date/time
is specified in a valid format supported by the current locale setting

I can change some fields in other applications, but I normally have issues with changing the workorder field.

I am not sure what locale settings I have to check.

    Any help please

    Hi Ken,

is the issue coming when you changed the wonum field or for any field updates? Can you check your locale setting in the User profile Default Information section?

Set the locale if not set correctly, then try again.  We used to get the same error in the Inventory Work center and the issue still persists even after installing the IBM fix.

Hello Sahoo, thanks for your response. The issue comes when you change the wonum and some other fields in the work order table. Most other object changes are saved without issues.

How did you fix this in your environment? what should be the correct locale settings for the user? what if the user making the changes does not have a locale settings?
