Hi there,

I know the following ways to have multiple inspection forms on a work order record.
1) via Task
2) via Multi Asset
3) via Parent-Child WOs
4) via Nested Job Plans

Is there a way to have multiple inspection forms on the header level i.e. on Work Order level. Has anyone done that in their environment? I am looking for options other than described above. Further, the inspections forms are going to be used in Maximo Mobile for EAM app with Maximo 7613 on mobility devices.

My thought is to use custom attributes and play with Inspection Form and Results tables using automation scripts to make it work.

We don't support this today because we store a reference object and ID and expect that to return only 1 record. You have no way to do this without having a separate object. It is relatively easy to add inspection forms to a separate object so if there is a reason you don't want to have the inspection on a MULTIASSETLOCCI, TASK, child WO, etc. you could create your own child object from WO and have it stored there. But you shouldn't force multiple inspection results on the same WO record directly because we wouldn't handle that properly.

Agree with Steve. We do use inspection forms but it’s 1-1 and not 1 to many. You may customise it with a mapping and store the results against those entities
