Earlier versions there was an option to create assets from maxim mobile but with 8.10 release i don't see the create asset option from the mobile application? Can someone please help ?

8.10 was the first version we support creating an asset (8.9 was a read-only view). It requires 2 permissions on MXAPIASSET. The first is part of the security template and that's the INSERT (Insert MXAPIASSET) permission that is required for the Maximo framework to allow you to create any record. For a reason completely unknown to me, in Maximo Mobile we require a second permission which is the CREATENEWASSET (Create New Asset) which controls the visibility of the new record option that needs to be granted and is not part of the security template. If you grant this permission on the MXAPIASSET object structure for the security groups you want to be able to create assets and log out of all sessions and log back in, you should see the create asset option. 

Thanks, Steve it worked. I granted the sig option for MXAPIASSET  for create new asset and granted ITASSETMGR for user and now able to see the create asset option. Appreciate your help on this.
