Good Afternoon,

We were using a system Breeze to perform custodial room inspections, out of business.

After reviewing some videos and playing with inspections forms in Maximo it appears the inspections form must be link to an asset.

We have over 25,000 rooms across 3 campuses so I would rather not add each room as an asset, very time consuming.

Is there a way to use inspection forms stand-alone but still have access to location records (Campus/Building/Room structure) ?

Most customers use it against an asset but you can execute inspections against a location instead of an asset. That applies to both ad-hoc inspections and inspections tied to a WO/WO task/MULTIASSETLOCCI on a WO. You can also associate an inspection form to a location like you can an asset to indicate that an inspection form is intended to be executed against that location.
