Hi, all. We have a site which wants to track consumables in a tool crib, using Maximo. At our other sites, we do this using a tablet with MxMobile, which keeps a parts tracking work order open at all times. The attendant scans a barcode to load the parts issued on that work order (in Actuals), to pull them from inventory. That works well for us.

This tool crib doesn't always have an attendant, so the site wants to have a little handheld Bluetooth scanner which will store items and quantities used for a time, then upload those into Maximo later. The idea is that people other than the attendant can scan out parts without needing to log into the tablet, and the attendant could load the parts saved to the Bluetooth scanner once he or she is back in the crib. 

Do any of you have experience with a similar situation? If so, could you give me some pointers on what has worked for you, and what scanners you use to make it work? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
