There is a description field on the route stop, but without a long description. I can't remember if that ever had a long description. The route stop description will be come either the child work order description, the multiassetlocci description, or the task description depending on what option you have selected for the stop.

My bad! I mixed up ROUTESTOPS and JOBTASK!
Question is regarding Routestops. Jobtasks is OK longdescription is there but on routestops I don't have HASLD in routestop table.

Quick answer = It's still there in MAS 9.
it should not have been removed due to the upgrade. Please check if there is still JOBTASK.HASLD and JOBTASK.DESCRTION_LONGDESCRIPTION. If yes, then most likely its a screen thing

In our MAS 9 migration project we need to add longdescription on routestop descriptions.
What is the easiest solution to fix this?
Wonder if longdescription on jobtask has been removed from earlier versions of Maximo? (5.x or 6.x)
I Checked the longdescriptiontable where ldownertable = 'jobtask' and ldownercol = 'Description' and got over 50000 records.
So it seems to the function was there before 2011-2012
