    Hi Everyone,
It looks like we don't have out of the box solution for e-sig in Maximo mobile and need to customize the solution. Can anybody please share your expertise on the solution? Thanks.

EZMaxMobile has supported e-signatures OOB for almost a decade. Happy to discuss our solution with your client.

    Hi ,

I am also working on this solution and as a reference I am using Anywhere e-signature business logic to build the same in Maximo Mobile.
Also, I am building it for a particular action in Maximo Mobile.

    Thanks,

We are planning support for e-signature as part of the calibration enhancement. We realize it's an import feature for some organizations, especially our validated customers. For most customers, I would not recommend trying to implement your own version of e-signature.

Also, most people are still unaware of this but in 7.6.1.2 we added a new e-signature process for use in SAML/OIDC environments that is always utilized in MAS because every MAS implementation is using OIDC even if all users are configured for local auth. We provision our own identity provider so that you can transition seamlessly across all the products in our suite and mix and match authentication types (vendor users are local and internal users utilize SAML for example). This new e-sig requires each user to setup a separate password for utilizing in e-signature challenges since the password from an identity provider is never accessible to an application. IE if your identity provider is Azure AD and you configure SAML for an application, that application never sees the password the user typed in to Azure AD. In 7.6.1.X, you could configure LDAP for use in e-sig challenges in SAML environments but that is not possible in MAS.

To set it up, click your profile icon and choose the "Set or modify e-signature key" inside of Manage. If your users have not gone through this setup, they cannot properly use e-sig in MAS.
