Bill,
You may also use the Application Export/Import function. That will allow you to make the changes in an Excel format, change the file back to a .csv, and then import it back into Maximo.
Earlier, this would be considered an I/T nightmare, and, from a data management standpoint, it still is not something they prefer. I would suggest not putting any individual names on any PMs, job plans, etc. I would suggest assigning the PM to a persongroup, even if that person group is one person. All I/T would need to do is manage the person group. I/T can easily modify person groups in mere seconds without any delay to the process.
I would suggest persongroups for workflow as well. The only time one needs to have an individual name on a record is when it is a work order record.

Subject: PM Supervisor
We have a changing of the guard coming up and our work group has 466 PM's that we want to change the supervisor on. Is there a mass way to change them all or do we have to go through them all individually?
