Scenario: Meter-Based PM
Interval: 500 hours
Generate WO Ahead by: 100 hours
Generate Work Order Based on Meter Readings (Do not Estimate): ON
Use Target Start Date: OFF (floating schedule)
The expected behavior is: the PM work order should generate at when machine reaches 400 hours and the Target Start Date would be set to the 500 hour projected date (i.e. 100 hrs ahead, going by the Average Units per Day).
However, Maximo is not behaving as expected. Maximo is correctly generating the work order at 400 hours, but the Target Start Date(100% compliance date) is being set to the PM generation date (i.e. the 400-hour mark) rather than the correct 500-hour mark.
So in essence, the work order is being generated early, but it's also saying it's due as soon as it's generated. This defeats the purpose of generating ahead.
Does anyone have any insight on this?
