Does anyone using rotating tools in Maximo 7.6.1.3 and have a process for performing maintenance on those tools not issued from a storeroom? I have found that when PM work orders are issued on the tool, no GL accounts come with the work order, preventing proper billing. Is there a process to maintenance the tools not checked out, but that still need inspections performed to maintain certification. An example would be a fall harness and lanyard that are in a storeroom until needed. They must have an annual inspection per OSHA. This inspection may need to be performed prior to issuing to a craftsman.
