Hello all,

Could you please direct me on where I need to go to add a new PM Frequency/Unit that is selectable under Time-Based Frequency?  A number that is not in the system has been requested so we need to add it.

This is a synonym domain (FREQUNIT). All synonym domains by design do not allow customers to enter different internal values. This is because the Maximo code base needs to handle it and won't handle anything other than the four (DAYS, MONTHS, WEEKS, & YEARS) we ship out of box. If there is an alternate frequency you need then you would need to open an idea to support it. Our ideas portal is here: https://ibm-ai-apps.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/

This is something custom your organization has added. By default, the frequency field does not have a domain associated with it so you can type any integer value so you could easily type 18 out of the box and then pick the months frequency. If you have access to Database Configuration, you can filter for the PM object and then filter for the FREQUENCY attribute. There will be a domain associated to it in your case. If you use the chevron next to the domain field it will take you to the domains application to modify the value list. You won't see a domain in my example below but I wanted to take a screenshot in case it helps.

I'm not sure if you can get the history of why this added from someone else but I'd honestly look to remove the domain. There are always unique situations so it doesn't make a lot of sense to me to restrict the values.
