1) 
Does Maximo apply security groups and data restrictions upon generating PM work orders?

Let's say a security group contains data restrictions on multiple objects: 
WORKORDER, JOB PLAN, PM etc.

When a PM is due to generate, does Maximo consider such security group(s)? 

2) 
System takes time generating PM work orders specially sequenced PMs. There are more than 16k PM work orders to be generated in a day and each PM work order takes approx 1 minute to generate. I have rebuild the indexes in the past however, it does not improve the overall performance.
Any inputs would be of great value.

1. Data Restrictions get applied from the UI not from Cron task. You need to handle in SQL Clause associated with PM Cron.
2.  Is there any script associated with PM or WO MBO specially on Add Event of WORKORDER / WOACTIVITY, if yes you may need to check it to see if there is a custom logic slowing things down. Other than it, Run Gather Stats on the PM, WO and all related tables apart from Rebuilding the Indexes.
