Hello,

Looking for a detailed Step-by-Step procedure for installing a full MAS environment that include also
the part of installing OpenShift platform from scratch.

Unlike prior versions that included WAS install, currently all documentations relate to MAS deployment only,
assuming RHOS already set.

Thanks in Advanced,
Jacob

Jacob,
Unfortunately there is no one single documentation that ties this together that will come from IBM. The way I look at it there are 3 many steps:

1. Install of OpenShift
2. Install MAS prerequisites
3. Install Manage or other MAS Suite applications (e.g Health, Predict, etc).

For OpenShift the documentation is available from the RedHat site and goes into great detail depending what platform (AWS, Azure, IBM, on-premise with vSphere) https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/openshift_container_platform/4.8/html/installing/index.
Installation of MAS is outlined with the link Craig provided https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/mas-cd/continuous-delivery. Lastly if you are trying to install Manage as an example, then the documentation is here https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/mas-cd/continuous-delivery?topic=a-maximo-manage.

Hello Mike,

Thanks for your reply.

Indeed, I wouldn't expect a single documentation (Although I would expect IBM to prepare one).

I get the MAS part, but I'm mainly missing the OpenShift part, specifically for installing On-Prem.
Currently, all documents only relate to OSP as already configured.

For those of us 'Maximo Pros', that lack the time to figure out this OSP 'beast', we only need to understand
how to install and set it up for Maximo.

The same happened with WAS, but with the proper docs provided with the product, I could handle it pretty
well for setting up with Maximo.

It will be great if there is such a doc, an official one a kind that is supported by IBM.

Kind Regards,
Jacob
