Maximo 7.6.2.1 - Asset Drill Down Feature

Question

Hi all,

Just wanting to touch base with any using this feature in 7.6.2.1 and if you have issues with "show path to top". It doesn't show the path from top to the asset you have selected but show's the whole tree. we've we advised it is working as it should, and we've voted to have this enhancement updated.

Also has any seen a decrease in performance once upgraded to 7.6.2.1?

Hi Sarah,

Generally, if there is any issue with the drilldown, it's as a result of there is an issue with the locancestor, but you also need to check the lochierarchy. They are used in different situations.

LOCHIERARCHY is easy as that is just LOCATION + PARENT, whereas with LOCANCESTOR is LOCATION + LOCATION, LOCATION + IMMEDIATE PARENT, LOCATION + IMMEDIATE PARENT PARENTS, etc...

Though it's a little hard to understand your issue without a picture.

Is the problem in the standard drilldown or the advanced drilldown by the way?
