If accessing the logs via a network share isn't an option:

Is there a way to view the logs via the Maximo UI? (7.6.1.2)

Edit: I'm not able access the logs through WebSphere either. (I can't reply to comments in this post be cause I accidently classified this post as a Question/Answer, not as a discussion post.)

Thanks.

By any chance do you have web sphere access? You can view the server logs in web sphere  as well

You can't get them through the UI out of the box. However, you just might be able to access the logs for the server it runs on from an autoscript.

Assuming default configuration, Maximo runs from a WebSphere profile's directory. The relative path from there to your app server's logs is "logs/{mxe.name}/SystemOut.log", where you would replace "{mxe.name}" with the value of the mxe.name system property. And with a bit of study and work, you might just be able to get that exposed in the Maximo Management Console.

you can see the jvm logs in websphere also.
you could do an action/automation script to reveal logs also in a custom development effort
