    Anyone else have an Outage with MAS 8.11.  We are down and have been for over 15 hours.  Started at 5:35PM PST. Curious have large it is.

    We are direct with IBM. Maximo MAS 8.11 just came back online. It was down for over 18 hours.
    IBM said we were not the only company.

    Did they indicate the cause? 

    I am not sure how we would function if it was down for more than 2-3 hours much less 18 hours.

    No explanation yet as for outage. Test and Dev is still down and still limitations on some administration items.

    We have also lost data with this outage. Looking like > 3:00PM EST on Monday. So I assume they restored from a timed backup.

    Still no update, but we did have another outage of MAS Production yesterday May 16, for 1 hour. TEST and DEV sites are still down.

    We are working toward MAS8 migration and this has me a bit concerned....

    Yes we also had a massive downtime yesterday with MAS 8.11 hosted with IBM. Roughly 16 hours to get production back up. Development environment is still down. No explanation as to what happened yet.

    We also experienced this massive downtime and faced operational setbacks. We just went live with Maximo in March and find this to be quite frustrating as new customers and are genuinely disappointed.  Hopefully, this isn't typical.  I am curious if anyone else has more experience with incidents like this.  We have 6+hours of data loss, and the situation has worsened with new data overwriting the old SR and WO numbers.  We are trying to recover but don't have the data to do so on our own and are dependent on IBM. Does anyone have processes in place to recover from something like this?
