Hello all,

I noticed that I can add Address info in MXPERSON but cannot remove and make blank.

I did not choose delete because I did not want to delete the record, so I just removed the text from the field and chose Change and Add/Change but it did not remove it in Maximo.

Any suggestions? Or is it not supposed to remove text from fields only edit them?

Hi Danny! I haven't reviewed it, but I'll respond quickly. If you query a person pointing to MXPERSON ("query" method) and you can see the address, then you delete it and synchronize call the "Sync-AddChange" or "Sync-Change" method, it should delete the data from the field.

Tell me if it doesn't work for you and I'll try it here.

I'm not sure if this will do what you're looking for, but I was told that if I wanted to clear data from a field I should put the reserved word ~NULL~ in the MXLOADER cell for the field I was trying to remove the data from.
