  • 1.  MxLoader can't connect to server. We use Single Sign On, PIV cards with SCRIL, any ideas?

    Hello,

    This question may be for Bruno Portaluri.

    I have a persistent obstacle with your MoreMaximo MxLoader Tool.  I downloaded the newest version and tried both OS/LDAP and REST/API configs. 

    We use Single Sign on, with PIV cards and SCRIL (Smart Card Required Interactive Login), and we cannot use MxLoader to connect with our server after the SCRIL upgrade.   Our programmers say using username and pw is a future possibility, but it requires so much work and time that it's nearly prohibitive.  I

    Any idea on how I can connect and use MxLoader?  I am hoping use of MxLoader is not dead in the water after we upgraded to this SCRIL.

    Hello stuck user,

    Have you tried generating an API key for the user and use is as the Password in the REST/API option. No need for a username, only the API key.

    Success.  We used an API authentication type, then the User was a custom generated API key from our IT Server admins.  Then the password was blank.  The MxLoader spreadsheet now connects reliably.  Thank you.
