MxLoader

Good afternoon all,

I am wanting to update the person records in Maximo using MxLoader which has been such a great tool for which I am very grateful.

I added the Supervisor name in App designer.

The Supervisor ID pulls successfully, but I have not been successful in pulling the Supervisor name.

Does anyone have any suggestions on if this would be possible?

The setting for this attribute is:  SUPERVISOR.DISPLAYNAME

Maximo comes with the supervisor displaying the name, out of the box. The relationship looks correct, so you should only need to load the supervisor field on the person record, and when you display it in the people application, the corresponding name for that person should display. 

Check the data you loaded and ensure it matches the present person data. You can always find a record that appears to have an error, select that person from the select value, and then save. If it works, you had a data error on the load, which I am guessing is the issue.

Hi Danny! 

You do not need to import the supervisor name, only the supervisor ID.

When you see the supervisor's name in the application, what you see is data related to the supervisor's ID. While you see it, Maximo looks for the person loaded in the Supervisor ID and shows you their name. You can easily see this because in the database, in the PERSON table there is no "SUPERVISOR.NAME"... it is a related data.

Just upload the SUPERVISOR ID is enough and do a test and then in Maximo you should be able to see his name on the Person application.
