 need help with MAS9 MANAGE installation

Hello,

We just installed our MAS9 MANAGE module and when we activated it, it seems to be saying "Activating in Workspace"  forever and it never finishes. You can see the attached screenshot.

activation process is in an endless loop

For reference, we did not specify any JDBC connection or upload any security certificates during the activation.  We assume that the activation would use default settings.

Any suggestion, idea, help is much appreciated.

Hi HD,

I would look inside the logs of your maxinst pod. That's where most of my install problems were hanging. You can can find the pods by going into your Openshift console and navigating to Workloads ~> Pods ~> Then selecting your manage instance from the Openshift project dropdown. 

Are you just trying to deploy manage with the default DB2 instance and dummy data? Or is there a specific DB type that you're using?

Once MAS Core is installed and you're ready to install Manage, there are several steps you need to take before proceeding.
 
First, ensure that the OpenShift Registry is properly set up. Depending on where and how you're running OpenShift, you’ll need to choose the appropriate registry configuration1.
 
Next, prepare your database. You will need the JDBC URL, database username, and password. Supported databases are DB2, Oracle, or MS SQL2
 
With these two steps completed, you should be ready to install the base version of Manage, with or without demo data. Advanced configuration options are also available if you require more customization.
