Can anyone tell me where the value listed as the "Approved Estimate" (circled in the image below) comes from when you go to "View Costs" in Work Order Tracking? I'm trying to figure out why my planned vs. actual labor hours are so out of whack, and I'm wondering if this is one of the reasons why. We are running Maximo 7.6.1.2. Thanks! - Amy
In general, when you plan labor, materials, services and/or tools, once the work order is first approved, those estimates copy to the 'approved estimate'.
These are set from the fields that begin with "ESTATAPPR". As Chris mentions, these are set upon first approval.
Thanks guys! So those values can't be changed once the work order is first approved, correct?
@Amy Tellier-Briggs Technically, if the work order is taken back to waiting approval, estimates are revised adn work order is approved, the approved estimate will be updated / replaced. So, the values can be changed after initial approval.
