Good morning, I'm currently using MAS 9 and need help with the qualification application; it imported all qualifications and labor from a previous migration, but I can't update the expiration date, which is read-only, and I want to add this to track upcoming certifications-any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

When a qualification has an expiration, it means it needs to be renewed. There is an "Extend/Renew Qualification" feature that you might be missing security for (the permission would be called Extend/Renew Qualification in the Security Groups application). You use this to indicate the user has completed whatever necessary requirements are for renewing the certification.

I currently have access to the Extend/Renew but it still does not open the expiration date up.  Does it just go by the Duration or is there a way to open that field.

Yes, the expiration date is based on the duration defined on the qualification and the date you specify for the labor for the Effective Date. If the Effective Date is January 1st 2026 and the qualification is valid for 3 years, then the expiration should get set automatically to December 31 2028. The expiration date is the last day that it is valid.
