    Hi all,

    I have been trying to test the Maximo REST API for updating records and received this following error:

     "BMXAA1496E - The WORKORDER record does not exist in the database and cannot be updated or deleted.",

    Even though the work order exists in the database, I tried using WORKORDERID as well and got the same result. I also tried adding the WORKORDERID in the URL, but I still get the same error.

    Using Object Structure: MXWO

    I am not sure where I am doing wrong and any help would be appreciated.

    What header you are using? 

    x-method-override should be SYNC, deselect the patch type as MERGE and try again

    Hi Subhransu,

    Thank you for your help. I deselected the patchtype = MERGE as you guided; used "PATCH" for x-method-override and also used the workorderid in the URL.

    Now the records are updated successfully.
