Hello all,

I have successfully been able to add Failure Codes once the original has been created, it will automatically fill in the description.

I was curious if it is possible to create new Failure Codes directly from MX Loader by adding the description field onto the MX Loader sheet.

I am attaching the file used.

1 - I tell you that the existing object structure in Maximo MHFAILURELIST does not work for me. I make queries from MxLoader and it doesn't bring me any data (it must have some restriction). So, what I did was create another one with the same structure that is with the main FAILURELIST object and related to FAILURECODE through the relationship of the same name FAILURECODE. I called this new structure MF-FAILURELIST

2 - I had to do the loading process in two parts with the same data that I attached. In the first instance, I used Sync-Add without registering the PARENT field (null value) in that colum E (PARENT)

3 - Then, I query data as it is in the where clause so that it lists the last 5 records, which are precisely the ones that I had loaded. I did this with a "Query" and the clause is "order by failurelist desc fetch first 5 rows only" (I leave it written for you in the attached file)

4 - Finally, I took the values that it brought me and registered the PARENT field with the data that it brought me from the FAILURELIST column. I did this with the "Sync-Change" option

The result was as expected, the creation of the faulilure code with its structure (associated with the problem, cause and solution).

Now, it is very likely that this will work in one step if instead of doing it through MxLoader you do it with the "Import" option from the "Failure Code" application.
