  • 1.  Folder Sequence in Attachments

    Posted 01-16-2023 07:35

    Hello Everyone,

We have created a new folder with "Cog/WRS" in workorder attachments, but it is showing up very last when I am selecting. So we are having difficulty selecting this folder because the javascript function is hiding the created folder. We have tried to put orderby in library.xml, but to no avail. So is there any possibility to hide the JavaScript function on screen? or any way to display created folders in alphabetical order?

I believe there are too many doctypes that are added to this application Work Order Tracking. I can see folders like PM Instructions here. Why do PM Instructions folders need to be available when you are doing attachments on Work Order?

The easiest solution will be to de-associate folders that are not required to cut down items into this long list.

But if you really need to put sorting here then you need to deal with class psdi.app.doclink.FldDoclinksDoctype.

I agree with Prashant, I think first you need to dissociate some of the apps from doctypes (Attachment Library/Folders > Associate Folders dialog and the appdoctype table). That is probably the best approach. I don't think you can sort a combobox via the library XML.

If you need a quick way to be able to select the folder as a user... maybe you can zoom out on your browser?
