Dear All,
There is limited information available on managing services on Work Orders.
Scenario is to put work order into a new status WSERV "Waiting for Services" in case Services are planned on a work order, or to change status to Waiting for Material and Services in case both material and services are planned and material is not available and service is also needed from a 3rd party external service provider.
Question is how do you ensure service is available on site? Is It by adding a checkbox Onsite (Y/N) on Work Order Plans Tab, Service subtab? In case Its an on site service item then we have to put the work order to Ready status.
Moreover, the same work order might have material needed. In that case system will put work order to WMATL status. In workflow we put a wait node with event "maximo.workorder.status".
How to handle this scenario? where you have to keep work order waiting until services and material are all available?
I am looking for references on using Reorder Crontask as a scheduled cron task for generating PRs for Services.
Any suggestions, document, site would be appreciated.
