Has anyone fixed the MAS Screens to be more respectful of space?  We are using v7.6 right now and I am absolutely shocked at how the MAS 9.0 interface is so wasteful of space and user's time.

Here is our current v7.6 Work Order Tracking screen as an example:

v7.6 Work Order Tracking, general screen that several groups use
Here is the MAS 9.0 equivalent.

The v7.6 WOTrack screen has like 2 fields below the bottom of my screen while the MAS 9.0 makes me scroll down 3 pages to see it all.  If we are talking comparable values the body of the form for 7.6 is 1,100 pixels high while the 7.6 one is 2,650 pixels high.   It takes 2.4 times more space our v7.6 counterpart.  And that is not factoring in the large empty spaces at the top of the forms.  The space around the fields is excessive, the height of the fields is often 3 times what is needed for the data in the field.
Additionally if there is a Next Page button it is often at the bottom of a pop-up window and if I need to go back several pages it is not just a click, click, click it is scroll down and wait for it to load, click, scroll down and wait for it to load, click, etc..  This is especially frustrating on forms which do not have filtering and I need to go back like 20 pages (like the value lists).
Has anyone found a way to fix this?  This will be one of the main complaints we get, if not the main complaint, when we show our users.

    Hi Brad,

I know you are able to update MAS with Configuring CSS from the MAS Admin side. I have made some CSS changes for clients before, but I believe this would fall under adjusting/shrinking the padding which I do not have any experience doing. There is a good amount of configuration you can do with CSS and that is where I would start. The trick is going to be finding the "right" CSS to do what you need.

Naviam wrote this blog on some fairly beginner configurations that may be able to guide you into updating what you need to make the screen a bit more accessible for your users.

You can also look to see if changing this system property mxe.webclient.label.orientation to horizontal. I believe the default is vertical which puts field labels above the field, instead of to the left side of the field. I also have not tested this in MAS. I could see this requiring additional horizontal scrolling.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction to resolve this.
