    Good Afternoon,

I'm working on some basic KPI's for upper management. My supervisor has a pie chart of work orders by status showing up on her main portal (see image).  The normal KPI's allow only the gauge graph. She is not sure how this was created, it was some time ago. I can go to the results set from the pie cart in work order tracking. Can someone determine by the image attached how this report was created. Much Thanks.

That looks like a result set. If you set this up as a result set, you can use the chart option during setup to set the pie chart as default, and assign colors to each status.

    Hi Keith,

In that portlet on the start center, click on the pencil icon in the upper right hand corner to edit the portlet. The next screen defaults to the "Field Configuration" options. You can change the chart type by clicking on "Chart Options" to the right of "Field Configuration" in the blue bar (see screen shot attached).

Select the dropdown under "Chart Type" to select what you would like it to be, and use the magnifying glass near the "Display By" field to select whichever field you want the chart to focus on. In your example, that looks like the status field. We have result sets that are set to display by lead, for example, and if you click on one specific lead's piece of the "pie," it opens up a list of that tech's work orders in WO Tracking.

    Hope that helps!

    Good Morning,

Thanks for the input. It was my lack of understanding of Start Centers and Portlets/Results. I watched a number of videos last night, very helpful.
