  • 1.  Historical trend not displaying the graph for the KPI

    Hi,
    I have two questions, if someone could assist?
    1) I am having a KPI which is displaying result in QA but the same thing is displaying nothing in PROD environment. I tried "update" the kpi and then it showed the bar graph. Can you tell me what can be the reason of it? Also, would like to know how " reload" is different from "update"?

    2) Though now the kpi bar graph is coming but the no graph is visible in the historical trend. How to get the trend graph? Other Kpi trend graph is visible.

    Please let me know your suggestion.

    For question 2, check your KPI Crontask - I think you will find that it is not active. This cron task is what runs the KPI periodically AND stores the data point.

    "Update" will run the KPI('s) at that moment and provide you with the current value, but it will NOT create a data point for trending. Not sure where you are seeing 'reload', unless you mean web browser reload, which should force the browser to retrieve the webpage from the server, but that means pulling the KPI from the last run via the Cron Task, so this would not be the same as "Update".

    Not sure about the difference in the environments if the data is the same.
