Version 7.6 of Maximo.
I am occasionally asked to get our measurements off the work order tasks for a time period. Usually it is not all of them but only certain things. Like the pH that is taken as part of a large collection of readings. The problem I run into is the Work Order table has the MeasurementValue and MeasureDate but not what that number means. 2, 7, 8, 9 is all good but without knowing the unit of measure it is pointless. Is that meters, pH, temperature, etc?
To find that I either have to go to the JobTask table joined by JobTaskID to look up the metername or go to the Measurement table based on the SiteId and PointNum. Is this noted somewhere on the work order tasks that I am not seeing? Why is the metername for the measurement that was taken not recorded in the work order table? Is this fixed in MAS somewhere?
